The staff at Watan are extremely welcoming. We were treated very well from the start up until we left. The food was incredible and full of flavour. We even had complimentary desserts and tea!! Overall a wonderful experience at Watan and exceptional service from the restaurant staff. Will definitely be coming back here even if I have to do the 1 hour journey again!!!

Watan restaurant is a very good and great restaurant. It has a lot of delicious food. It has a very good test.Zabi Bhai and Babu Bhai respect the customer very much and keep the customer very happy.

We had a work dinner with 17 people, food was on point and great service, especially from Farzan she was amazing also Imran.
Excellent food and excellent service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Gave us good recommendations and lovely tea at the end of our dinner. Would recommend!
Very nice food, kebabs were fresh. Mantu was amazing! And lassi was soo lush. People were very friendly, especially Imran he really catered to our needs and went above and beyond. Will definitely come here again.

Disappointing Experience at Watan Tooting"I recently visited Watan Tooting and was very disappointed with the experience. The food was overpriced for what we received — small portions, lower quality than expected, and overall not worth the cost. To make matters worse, I was charged extra without clarity on what the charges were for.I was really looking forward to a great meal, but unfortunately, this visit fell short of expectations. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both quality and customer service.
Very busy in the evening, better to book in advance.The food was amazing a little too salty, lamb dumplings were wonderful 💯👍🏽 one of the best I ever had.Side note you and your clothes will be infused with fried food smell so probably better to go home later.Maybe the restaurant should invest in a better extractor.Also the service could improve.
Since moving to London, we've tried a variety of South Asian restaurants (India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh). But I'm sorry, the most of them are terrible. None of them bothered to learn cooking and just opened a restaurant. Then we found this one. By far the best South Asian food available in London. They don't deal with amateur cooks; instead, they have actual chefs. The cuisine is simply mouth watering, flavorful.The interior is beautifully designed. Most crucial, a polite and friendly welcome. Our host was an elegant lady who was very courteous, caring, and cordial.Finally, there is the price. It's quite reasonable. In reality, it is rather reasonable when compared to other restaurants of this kind. Also, the plats have good portions.All in all, a fantastic experience and would say, it’s a must visit.
I don’t know where to start. We came in a couple minutes before closing and asked the owner if he can still serve us. He replied yes and said “In our culture , when guests come inside, we never say no”. What a way to greet us!Since my friends and I came from Canada, my cousin from Tooting took over the responsibilities of placing the order. We were a party of 4 in total.The food arrived quickly and I cannot explain how amazing every single dish tasted. We got the mixed bbq platter , which came with multiple kebabs, lamb chops, chicken breast, rice and naan. Everything was absolutely perfect. We also got a side of the lamb kebabs + chapli kebabs and it was an excellent addiction.The complimentary green, white and red sauces brought out all the flavours and really brought the dishes together.Without a doubt, next time I’m in Tooting, I will be coming back to Watan!Thank you Watan Tooting and your team, absolutely amazing experience and even better food! I really hope I find something similar to this in Canada!
Great tasting food in an open and airy restaurant. We had the Chapli kebabs, Afghani Naan, Roghani Naan and Tarka Daal Mash Daal but our favourite was the Peshawari chicken karahi - it was rich in flavour but not overpowering - definitely worth a try. The service was also excellent, especially our Server Abid! Highly recommended!
Popped in for a quick snack on a Saturday night, very impressive large interior with open kitchen on right hand side near entrance. Restaurant is split level and decor is very luxurious. Service and food spot on, will return for a larger meal next time in Tooting. Definitely would recommend for Pakistani food, staff nice and friendly also
