Amazing and delicious! Had the English-ish breakfast and every item tasted amazing! For a drink caramel latte, was so delicious, one of the best breakfasts I've ever had!

To be honest, as a Chinese, it was my first time to try chaiiwala, an Indian and Pakistani-style cuisine. At first, I didn’t dare to try it, but I found that I was completely overly worried. The cuisine of chaiiwala is very unique and delicious to me, a Chinese, and the staff are also very kind and positive. I have never seen a fast food restaurant that can provide food delivery to the table and collect food waste at any time. I rarely see Chinese people coming here, so I was given a free cup of Karak Chai, which tastes like high-quality ginger juice and milk. It was a perfect experience for me.
The food at Chaiiwala is really good! I especially loved the Butter Chicken & Slaw Sandwich, and the chai tastes just like proper desi chai. The ambiance is super pretty, with great lighting that sets a nice vibe. The only thing I’d suggest is adding some background music—it would make the place even better! 💕
Highly unprofessional service. Ordered food and after 40 minutes they cancelled the order without mentioning any valid reason

I placed an order through Uber eats for my breakfast. There were two items missing. I paid for them. The food portion was much lower compared to their photos and not cooked properly. The total 6 Indian style parathas should have included with my order. But I have received only 4. The Paratha I was expecting made by the restaurant. But it was pre packed ready made low quality paratha, just fried in the shop. They also put too much sugar in the tea. I think every shop has minimum standard that they give sugar separately. Very disappointed. I am waiting to get my money back.

First time visiting chaiiwala in Colchester this evening. The menu was full of wonderful looking and sounding food. Hard to pick with so much choice but the food we picked was really tasty. The staff were very helpful and polite and were really nice when we left saying we wouldn't be disappointed. He was right. We'll definitely be returning.
Brilliant food and service. But the best of all is the tea. I’ve only tasted this tea in the Middle East and tours brought back memories. The food is of really excellent quality and full of flavour

I recently visited Chaiwala in Colchester and was quite disappointed with both the service and food quality. The service was slow and inattentive, with long waits. The food items lacked freshness, tasting bland and not living up to the hype. While the ambiance had potential, the overall experience felt subpar. Unfortunately, it fell short of the expectation I had for a place known for its chai and snacks. Not a spot I’d rush back to.
