The ambience and staff was good and kind. The food was delicious too but could have been a little better due to the pan they served in looked like have been through a lot.
I recently visited Akbar’s Restaurant, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely top-notch, and the service was exceptional, thanks to my guy Hassain, who made sure we had a memorable time. The sizzlers and seekh kebabs were out of this world—definitely a 10/10! For the main course, Hassain recommended the Charsi Karahi, and wow, it was nothing short of phenomenal. The flavors were rich and bold, truly a culinary masterpiece. If you're looking for an epic dining experience, this place is a must-visit!
Lot to choose from in the area, but Akbars is a great find. Friendly, efficient service, interesting menu, old favourites and some proper Pakistani favourites. Staff very helpful with a couple of additional folk joining and funny and joking during the meal.. stand out to Hussain for his attention.Big stand out was the nan stands, a revelation that every south Asian restaurant should embrace.Highly recommend.
The service was amazing, literally the best of Glasgow. I had things explained to me in unimaginable ways. They’re so kind and sweet. The vibes were alright, it’s good lighting for people with makeup. The food was great. However, the butter chicken was quite bland…
Went out with work staff for dinner. It was packed, but still, the service was fast, and the food was amazing. We got the butter chicken and lamb karhai. They were very flavourful and spicy. Very enjoyable
